Let me tell you a little about little Miss Morgan. She is such a delight when she comes to the studio. She’s always so cheerful and inquisitive (as most 3 and 4 year olds are). And we’ve learned to have certain things “in place” for when Morgan arrives now. Morgan absolutely LOVES to read books! Before she leaves the studio, she must sit down on the couch and read a good book or two … or three … from the basket we have in our lobby. So for Morgan’s four year old session recently, we decided what better way to celebrate than to take some pictures in PILES of books (this was one of the last shots we did of course). Morgan just loved it! Happy Birthday Morgan. We hope you had a great day!

I’m so excited summer is finally here and the leaves are popping out on the trees. Everyday I look out my window and watch the leaves open up a little more … a little more … and a little more. One of our hobbies when we have “spare time” (ok, ‘yeah right’) is to go out, enjoy the sunshine and take some infrared (IR) images with our infrared camera. Infrared photography is a different kind of photography that tends to look more like a wintery black and white image. However, most are taken in the SUMMER, look closely! With IR photography, anything that is green and has chlorophil turns white. So green grass and the leaves on the trees take on a snowy looking appearance at first glance. But once you start looking closer at the images … you notice this indeed is not a winter picture.

Here are two sample pictures. Visit our IR website Lindemann Photography to see more images or to learn a little more about infrared photography. IR prints make for very unique pieces of artwork for your home! Take a peek and let us know what you think!
